Biography of Apostle Jimell D. Roberts

Apostle Jimell D. Roberts was born February 7, 1985 to Mr. James Brown and Ms. Nyema Roberts. As a young boy it was discovered here the desire for an intense connection to the Lord’s church and the interest to declare the Word of God. At the early age of 6, He began his pursuit of Jesus Christ and studies under the watchful leadership of the late Pastor Arie Bell-Hardy of Hampton, VA and the late Jane E. Jackson (His grandmother). Apostle was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ at age 7 and professed the name of the Lord as his savior. He preached his first sermon and was licensed as a minister at the age of 9 years old and served as the minister of music at Apostolic Church of Christ Inc. for over 10 years. He is a very talented young vessel and incredibly gifted to play various instruments. During these years it was evident that the hand of the Lord was upon his life. He is dedicated man of God, committed to the work of the Lord and will stop at nothing to magnify and share the name of Jesus to everyone He meets. He lives to see this generation experience God in the most ultimate way, that all might come to ask, “what must I do to be saved”. He believes in the great deliverer, the unlimited power of God through demonstration, and is known for his gift of laying on of hands and his prophetic accuracy to the body of Christ. When Apostle was 16 years old, he started a foundation to help and assist the needy, homeless, hungry and poor in spirit in East-Nairobi, Africa. This foundation has since then evolved into an ongoing fellowship of believers who has adopted the name Transformation Life Church- Nairobi. This is now the leading tabernacle of TLC in the African region of two other churches who have also adopted the same name to follow in the vision that the Lord gave to Apostle Roberts. In May 2008, he was consecrated and set apart in the office of a Prophet and then called to Pastor in 2011 under his Spiritual Mother Chief Apostle Marion M. Jones where he was released to begin the official ministry of Transformation Life Church. In October 2013 he launched Transformation Life Covenant Fellowship Churches where it is continuously growing with new churches all around the world. It has now over 12 churches in fellowship. Being educated, Apostle was reared in the Hampton & Newport News public school systems where he graduated from Heritage High School with honors. He also attended New Horizons Educational Center to pursue a trade in other professional entities such as cosmetology, hair, nail and pedicure technician; He received many certificates of completion and accomplishments. He has completed courses at Canaan Theological Seminary College and has been certified to operate in the gifts of the spirit and the office of the Prophet as well as establish other churches as the Lord unction him to do so. He’s a recognized Overseer in the Global United Fellowship under Bishop Neil Ellis and has been certified as a well-respected Overseer of Protocol in various organizations, churches and by many other men of great stature. He’s also a representative of the Ecumenical Counsel of Bishops & Apostolic Leadership (ECOBAL) of the Eastern Region of the United States of America. Apostle is currently undergoing his PHD from Grace Bible College & Theological Seminary to be a part of the 2021 graduating class. Dr. Roberts is the President of Acts  of Grace Bible College & Seminary of Hampton, VA and known for his phenomenal teaching skill. A gift from God, He is well equipped for this assignment to carry out heaven’s plans in the earth. The Apostle is also the Founder and Establishmentarian of TLC Theological Development where He and other profound instructors empower and educate ministers of the Gospel to prepare them for ministry assignment, gift operation and various positions in the Lord's church. Known to many as “Pastor J” or “The Apostle” he is distinguished for his powerful preaching and prophetic teachings concerning the deep things of God. He stands firm on the Word of God as he displays true transformation, preaches holiness, healing and deliverance. Overseer lives and teach many things to include: “A nation of people that used to be something else”, “I still believe God” & “The Now, The New, The Next”, and his favorite quote, “I STILL BELIEVE GOD”. Continuing to serve the people of God with his whole heart, mind, body, and soul; Deliverance will come, souls will be saved, yokes will be destroyed, the name of the Lord will be magnified, and God will get all the Glory out of his life! 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name, would humble themselves and pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”
